A Victorian Legacy - Chapter 24.3 Truths

At long last, after seven months, I have the next chapter for you all. I should say that this was a bit of a struggle for me, since I was so out of practice with everything, but I hope that you all enjoy it.  As always, it's best viewed in fullscreen, but I should also say that trying to view it on Slideshare itself seems to be resulting in some extreme wonkiness when you try to fullscreen there, so if you can, please view this embed, or download it.

I've just realised that I forgot to thank LadyLarkRune for the permaloan of Owen and Mari Tudor from her wonderful Vaulting Ambitions, and Peasant007 for the permaloan of Zane from the brilliant Devereaux Legacy.  Sorry for the oversight Lark and Ang.  I love having then in the neighbourhood, and the only reason I can think I forgot, is that I meant to put them on the gag silde.  Sorry guys.

If it took seven months for this to be this awesome, I'll gladly wait seven more! I'm just really glad Sophia and Bertie finally took a hint and got that over with! Sooo frustrating! I'm still reading through a few of the old chapters, but I'm getting there!

P.S. Lovely work with the custom clothing! :)

Aww, thank you. I'm hoping it won't be so long until the next update, but I'm doing a rebuild at the moment. I'm not planning on moving everyone over until after Bertie graduates, but I want it all ready to go, and there's a lot to do.

I'm so happy to have Bertie and Sophia finally together properly. I love them a lot.

I'm really lucky to be good friends with Cait, who is amazing at making clothing. She's made some of my absolute favourite dresses, including Sophia's, Bethany's and Celestia's green dress.

this is stunning! i recently re-discovered this from a few years ago on my favourites tab, and i'm so glad i did! i love their expressions and bertie and sophia... n'awwwww!!! the clothing and all the little details are stunning! shame there isnt as much victorian cc availabe for sims 3!

Whoops, sorry for taking so long to respond to this. I don't seem to be doing very well with replying to people at the moment.

Anyway, I'm very glad that you enjoyed it. One of the things I really enjoyed about shooting this chapter was choosing the expressions for my sims, so I'm happy you liked them. The one advantage I've found of using static poses over animations, is that you can play animations at the same time and get some wonderful expressions out of your sims.

Yeah, the lack of Victorian cc is one of the reasons why I'd never switch this story over to that game. Hopefully in a few more years there'll be more so that those who prefer TS3 can play the era. It's such fun to do. :D
